Flor de Tarima

Merseguera y chardonnay

VINEYARD
: The vineyards are located west of Alicante, in the Medio Vinalopó area, near Pinoso, 660 meters above sea level. In this Mediterranean climate environment, the Merseguera and Chardonnay varieties grow in poor, limestone soils, with a controlled production of 6,000 kg/ha. The Merseguera, native to the area, is perfectly acclimatized, thanks to its long tradition in the region. The vines have an average age of 20 years, guaranteeing grapes of quality and character.

PREPARATION: Each variety is vinified separately to optimize its expression. The Chardonnay harvest takes place in August and the Merseguera harvest in September, ensuring ideal ripening. The extremely clean musts ferment at 14ºC, which highlights vibrant colors and fresh aromas. Finally, an assembly is achieved that balances the complexity in the mouth of the Merseguera with the elegance of the Chardonnay.

TASTING: Bright straw yellow color shows notes of fresh fruit, white flowers, aromatic herbs and citrus sparkles on the nose. In the mouth it is tasty, balanced, vertical and with very good acidity for a finish that lasts for its quality of both aromatic and gustatory nuances.
