Tarima Hill Lias

Chardonnay y Merseguera

D.O.P. Alicante

VINEYARD: The Chardonnay vineyards are located in Pinoso at an altitude of 700 metres. Limestone soils, a Mediterranean climate with continental influence, and elevation promote slow ripening, preserving freshness,
balance, and varietal expression.

WINEMAKING: The grapes are hand-harvested in August and cooled to enhance their aromatic potential. After
pressing and clarification, fermentation takes place in 225-litre French oak barrels under controlled temperatures.
The wine then ages on its fine lees for several months with regular bâtonnage, gaining volume, complexity, and a creamy texture.

TASTING NOTES: Bright yellow colour with golden highlights. The nose reveals white flowers, stone fruit, ripe citrus notes, brioche and butter nuances, complemented by subtle saline and spicy hints. On the palate it is rich, smooth and well-balanced, supported by a vibrant acidity that brings freshness. Long, elegant and persistent finish.
Presented in a Mediterranean-inspired bottle selected by Rafael Cañizares, whose shape and design evoke the heritage of the great white wines of the Mediterranean.
